Orlando
![]() Orlando is probably best known as the home of Walt Disney World but there is much more to the city than Disney World. Although millions of visitors a year flock to the Magic Kingdom, making Orlando one of the world's great travel destinations, they also have many restaurants, hotels, and other amusements such as Sea World and Universal Studios. And just minutes away from the tourist glitz and glitter is the "real" Florida - untouched hideaways where you can hike in wonderful seclusion, or bathe in the sparkling waters of a natural spring, or canoe down primitive streams past herons and alligators in a place that hasn't changed much since the first settlers reached Florida. Then again you could relax with some aroma therapy in one of the Orlando area's magnificent man-made garden parks. If you're looking for water sports, Orlando has 2 major water parks and is only a short drive for Tampa which is right on to Gulf of Mexico.
