Guadalajara is Mexico's second largest city. One of the favorite sight seeing places in Guadalajara is the historic district located in the heart of the city, encompassing the five plazas [among them the mile long Plaza Tapatio] and bordered by museums, municipal buildings, theaters and pedestrian zones, with streets traveled by delightful horse drawn carriages. Of course the city has some of Mexico's most typical traditions such as the Mexican hat dance, rodeos, the magnificently costumed Mariachis and tequila.
