Grenada
![]() Grenada is an independent state in the West Indies in the Caribbean. It includes the islands of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petit Martinique. Grenada, the largest of the islands, has many mountains and is covered with aromatic spice trees and rare tropical flowers. Bordered by dazzling beaches, and dotted with picturesque towns, this lush island is a major source of cinnamon, cocoa, mace, ginger, tonka beans, cloves and nutmeg. Visitors to the "Isle of Spice" can enjoy all the flourishing rainforests, cascading waterfalls, blue lagoons, coral reefs, and secluded powder-white beaches that enchanted European colonists centuries ago and still enchants so many today.
