Bonaire
![]() A scuba divers paradise called Bonaire is located in the Caribbean 50 miles north of Venezuela and 86 miles east of Aruba. Bonaire is appreciated for its nature tours to see the iguanas basking in the sun on dessert rock formations in Washington Slagbaai Park or the elegant pink flamingos standing on pure-white salt flats. Swimming, windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, cycling, or mountain biking are also popular in Bonaire. The festivals begin in January and go through February.
